The Tigers went up 3-0 early on and everything pointed towards another Tiger Vicory. Then came Seattle's 5th inning. In this inning Verlander would get shelled, rope after rope to the wall. Brandon Inge did not help the cause when he had a man out by 15 feet at home and then threw the ball in the dirt. The Mariners would go on to score 5 runs in the 5th, and would add on another later in the game. Verlander moves to 0-2 on the season.
