Tigers fall to ChiSox 10-6

Carlos Quentin smashes 2 HR to lead Chicago

Zach Miner got knocked around today. The Tigers fell behind early as Chicago scored 8 runs in the first 4 innings. Dye and Konerko went back to back, for each of them it was their 300th career Home Run. The Tigers fought back, but every time they would score it seemed the White Sox would respond.

The bottom part of the order for the Tigers continued to produce, Ramon Santiago (who started in place of Adam Everett at SS) hit a 3-run HR, and LF Josh Anderson drove in 3 runs of his own. The middle of the lineup let the Tigers down a bit today, Cabrera and Guillen had chances to drive in runs late and were unsuccessful.

Tigers 6 White Sox 10

(4-4 Record on the Season)
