As many of the closest readers to this site know, Craig Monroe is my favorite Tiger of the past decade. He was for a couple seasons the most clutch hitting Tiger I have seen. If the pressure was on it seemed like he would always come to the plate, and he would get the job done.Well, times have been tough the past few seasons for Mr. Monroe. So much so that he was a non-roster invitee on a minor-league contract to Pirates camp this spring. Well, he hit 8 HR in the spring to lead everyone in the NL.
They were basically forced to keep him on the roster.
Today was CRAIG's first start for the Pirates.
He hit two 3-Run Homeruns. Decent day at the park......
